Brains In Motion Testimonials

Brains In Motion values our families.  Our commitment to those families has earned us the trust and appreciation of the clients whom we have served. Below are just a few of the testimonials about their experiences and the impact Brains In Motion has had on their lives.

"Before we started therapy at Brains In Motion, our son, Kip, was struggling with sensory issues and fine motor and communication delays. His play consisted of putting everything in his mouth and he even struggled to release items from his hands. He also struggled with movement, so simple tasks such as riding in a shopping cart or stroller sent him into a panic. He has been seeing Taelor for occupational therapy for about 3 months now. Kip has improved so much with his fine motor skills and sensory issues. He is able to play with age appropriate toys now and rarely ever puts items in his mouth. He is able to understand what we are saying to him and he's getting better at communicating his wants and needs to us. He is also able to tolerate movement so much better now! This is all thanks to our occupational therapist at Brains In Motion. Taelor is so patient and encouraging with our son. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and has taught me so much on ways to help my son. We are just so thankful for her and Brains In Motion and everything they do to help others like Kip!"

"Ava started Occupational Therapy at Brains In Motion when she was first diagnosed with Dyslexia. An immediate improvement was observed in her classroom performance. As her academics become more challenging, her therapist recommended to begin the Focus ILS Listening Protocol. Ava began this treatment in August of 2023 around the same time as fall MAP testing. At that time her reading MAP scores placed her in the 17th percentile, almost a whole grade level behind her peers.  Ava completed the listening program in January of 2024. When winter MAP testing took place, Ava increased her reading score by 35 points, placing her in the 54th percentile and making her on grade level with her peers. This improvement gave Ava the confidence she needed to feel successful in school. Our family will forever be grateful for the amazing care and service we have had throughout our time at Brains In Motion!"

"Leaps and bounds: Our daughter has struggled in so many ways and despite the resources we used, nothing seemed to help enough. Her overactive fight/flight system and ADHD made day-to-day expectations of her practically impossible. We are so genuinely grateful for the work we have done with Brains In Motion. Now she is able to sit for routine medical and dental procedures. She even sat still for her flu shot this year! We feel like things are finally starting to level out and cannot wait to see how she continues to grow."

"Brains In Motion is truly amazing! They treated us like family and not just another client. My son is usually shy and reserved but Ms. Sara had a special way of connecting with him. He was more motivated to work hard during and after therapy because of her encouragement. Not only did he make physical progress, but he also gained so much socially"

"I found Brains In Motion roughly 5 years ago when my son was having fine motor and attention difficulties at school. After the initial evaluation, I knew we had found the right place! Kristi explained reflex integration and how Ethan’s retained reflexes were compromising his coordination and attention. During our time at Brains In Motion, Ethan was diagnosed with Dyslexia. As this diagnosis created more academic challenges, his therapist Sara knew exactly how to transition his treatment to best meet his needs.  Ethan is currently a 7th grader that is experiencing academic success in all regular education classes. I know he would not have accomplished all these goals without the therapy we received at Brains In Motion. They are not only phenomenal therapists, but caring individuals that see the best in children and help them reach their highest potential."
